Data Scientist

Responsibilities


  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and product owners to understand and satisfy customers’ needs, contribute to drive the innovative solutions for our customers
  • Develop strategies to extract the maximum possible value from the available data using techniques from supervised and unsupervised machine learning / deep learning, statistical analysis and optimization techniques
  • Support the models after their deployment, including fine tuning and retraining the model as required
  • Develop reports and dashboards that assist decision making of business stakeholders
  • Constantly research the latest trend of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques

 

 

Requirements


  • Bachelor or above in, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent
  • Able to write SQL and ETL code to extract data from source, perform necessary cleaning, and store them into our data warehouse
  • Advanced Python programming
  • Familiar with Machine Learning techniques to build predictive models on Time Series data, Text data, and Network data
  • Familiar with the whole life cycle of model building, including feature engineering, data preprocessing, model training, model testing and model deployment
  • Familiar with Optimization techniques using linear programming
  • Experience using big data tools (ex: Spark, HDFS, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Deep learning and Reinforcement Learning experience is highly preferred
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • A good team player with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to take challenges
